When a case qualifies, referrals are made exclusively to trial firms with active dockets in the relevant MDL or mass tort proceeding. We do not refer cases to firms that lack direct experience in the specific litigation. Our referral model is fully transparent: clients always know exactly who will be handling their case and why that firm was selected.
There is never a cost to the client. All representation is on a contingency fee basis, so the trial attorney only gets paid if the client recovers compensation. NuLegal's referral fee comes from the attorney's share, not from the client's recovery. If there is no recovery, nobody pays anything.
